Dear Reader, During COVID, my husband Brace and I went on one of our favorite Saturday bike rides in Irvine, California. After lunch at our favorite Asian restaurant, we did what we almost always did. We walked next door to our favorite little French bakery. There was just one problem. Instead of pulling out a regular face mask, he reached into his pocket and pulled out a black Zorro mask. When we walked into the bakery, the employee smiled and politely said, "Sir, you'll need to put on a mask." Brace looked at her with a completely straight face and said, "I already have one on." I absolutely lost it. I was laughing so hard. Needless to say... She wasn't convinced. It reminded me of something I see all the time with business owners.
