, Why are you working 24/7❓

Dear Reader,

“Sometimes we run so fast we forget where we are going and why we are running.”
— David Bednar

Let me ask you something honestly…

Why are you working 24/7?

When I sit down with entrepreneurs, one answer comes up again and again.

It’s not because they love the grind.
It’s not because they want to be busy.

It’s because the business isn’t quite working.

There’s revenue.
There are happy customers.

But when it comes to cash flow?

It’s tight.
It’s stressful.
And when you need money… it’s not always there.

So what do you do?

You work harder.
You push more.
You try to fix it.

And suddenly… you’re working all the time.

You can’t relax.
You can’t step away.
You can’t take that weekend with your family or your grandkids without feeling like something might fall apart.

I hear you.

I’ve been there — more than once in my own entrepreneurial journey.

And what I learned in 2021 changed everything for me.

It wasn’t more hustle.
It wasn’t more revenue.

It was a cash flow system.

A simple way to organize money so you actually know:
• what’s coming in
• what’s going out
• what’s safe to spend
• what needs to be set aside

That system gave me something I didn’t have before:

Peace of mind.

The ability to step away.
To be present.
To enjoy time with the people I love without that constant pressure in the back of my mind.

Here’s the truth most people won’t say:

There is no badge of honor for working 24/7.

It doesn’t mean you’re successful.
It usually means there’s a cash flow problem.

And it’s not your fault.

You didn’t start your business because you wanted to be an accountant.
You started it because you were passionate about what you do.

That’s why you have customers.
That’s why revenue is coming in.

But without financial education and without a system…

The business becomes a burden instead of the freedom you were dreaming of.

That’s why next Monday, we’re launching our Business Finance Masterclass for Women.

It’s just one hour.

But in that hour, I’m going to give you the tools to:
• understand your numbers
• take control of your cash flow
• and start turning your business into something that brings joy and freedom, not stress

You don’t have to keep running like this.

More details coming next week.

Profitably Yours,

Dear Reader, I woke up this morning to a notification that nearly made me spit out my green smoothie. "The Porsche you're looking at just dropped in price. Now only $422,995." I laughed out loud. Bargain of the century, right? Honestly, let's buy three. Here's the backstory. When my husband and I bought our place in Utah, we needed a four-wheel-drive vehicle for the snow. I ended up with a Tesla Y, which I love so much I genuinely don't think I'll ever own another car that isn't a Tesla. But...

Dear Reader, Can I describe your business to you? Day 1 of the month: Big deposit hits. You check your bank balance. You exhale. You make three decisions in twenty minutes — renew the software, upgrade the laptop, pay that vendor who's been waiting. You feel competent. Strategic, even. You are crushing this entrepreneur thing. Day 27 of the month: Payroll is in four days. You are doing panic math in the shower. You're refreshing Stripe like it's going to save you. You're scrolling through...

Dear Reader, This weekend my best friend from High School, Donna, and I went to the open house at the new Lindon Temple in Utah. We almost didn't go. They weren't doing tickets this year — first come, first served. We figured we'd hit traffic, hit a line, hit something. Showed up early anyway, parked easy, walked right in. I'm honestly so glad we did. The temple was breathtaking. But my favorite part was the stained glass. Every window was filled with flowers. And here's what I didn't catch...
