Dear Reader, While we were in Sun Valley, we went to watch the Olympic skaters. And they were amazing. The speed. It was beautiful to watch. At one point, one of the male skaters came out onto the ice, struck his opening pose, and waited for the music to begin. The music started. And immediately… It was wrong. Wrong song. It did not match his routine at all. Bless his heart, he just stood there in his pose and said something like, “Hello… that is not my music.” And then he waited. Because no matter how talented he was, he could not skate his program to the wrong music. The rhythm mattered. And that made me think about business. Your business needs a rhythm too. Not just more sales. A real financial rhythm. A way to know what is happening in your business before things feel urgent. Do you have a daily number you check? Do you have a weekly report? Do you know what is creating revenue? Do you know what is actually profitable? Do you know what is working? Do you know what needs to stop? I know that can feel overwhelming. So start simple. Pick one metric. Just one. Start by asking: What is creating revenue — and is it actually profitable? That one question can change the way you lead your business. Because revenue alone is not the whole song. Profit matters. Cash flow matters. Timing matters. And when your financial rhythm is off, everything feels harder than it should. That’s exactly what Profit Essentials helps you build. It’s my $97 foundation course designed to help you stop guessing, organize your business money around profit, and start making clearer financial decisions. So you can stop skating to the wrong music — and finally get your business into a financial rhythm that works. 👉 Start Profit Essentials here

Dear Reader, Children know something we forget. They know how to feel — all of it. The joy, the excitement, the delight, the disappointment, the tears, the frustration. They do not usually stop and ask themselves, “Is this a convenient time to feel this?” They just feel it. They laugh with their whole body. They cry with their whole body. They get excited over tiny things — a snack, a puppy, a sticker, a silly song, a puddle, a rock, a new toy. And honestly, I think that is one of the most...
Dear Reader, The world is all about perspective. How do you see what is happening? How does your brain file it away? Good.Bad.Scary.Annoying.Manageable.Impossible. Those labels matter. Those of you who have been with me for a long time know I have three daughters. One of them, Penelope, is 6’1”. And she does not exactly try to hide it. She loves wearing these huge boots — I think they’re called Wraith boots — that add several more inches. So suddenly, she is standing there looking like she is...
Dear Reader, Sometimes love looks like someone washing your hair in a sink. Those of you who have been with me a long time know that in 2022, two years after my husband Brace was healed from terminal cancer, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I had a full mastectomy. And after surgery, they put in tubes. It was not my favorite chapter. They would not let me shower. They would not let me exercise. And honestly, not showering may have been one of the hardest parts. 😄 So I went to Chuck. Chuck...
